Workshop.

The largest single section of our Suva workshop. PBS stands proud as a manufacturer of doors, windows, and custom timber components, all bespoke. Specifically tooled, with the latest computerised systems behind every cut.

Our joinery team is in the enviable position of being able to meet demand for fully custom components without external dependency. The on-site spray and finishes department works closely within the shop to ensure flawless surfaces are delivered with care.

Art
Workshop.

When we're given creative licence, we treat art as a form of construction. Our carvers and sculptors share a passion for evolving traditional South Pacific forms into contemporary work for homes and resorts.

An unmistakable South Pacific look and feel, personalised to every project. Given the freedom, we work ordinary timber, stone, resin, and concrete into something memorable.

Thatching
Workshop.

Natural thatching has been passed down through generations in Fiji, and the traditional Na Bure look remains a signature of the most beautiful homes and resorts in the Pacific.

We source our soga (palm) and magimagi (twine) from villages on the western coast of Viti Levu — providing income to families and clans that maintain the tradition. Soga is treated at the plant before it's incorporated into traditional or modern building techniques to create the most authentic backdrop possible.

Originally a marine-trade specialist operation acquired with our Suva factory, the PBS Metal Workshop has evolved into a powerhouse of metalwork capability — retaining the skilled team and the methods that defined it.

From intricate, custom aluminium and stainless-steel work to complete steel building superstructures. A cohesive group of highly qualified locals with more than a decade of collaboration behind every weld.

PBS is a licensed wall-frame and truss manufacturer. Our Wall Framing Department precuts and assembles timber wall framing after our structural engineers use the latest Pryda wall-builder software to design every component to engineering accuracy.

The drawings are downloaded directly to the components for cutting, before factory carpenters assemble and finish using a Pryda Truss press. Faster build, tighter tolerances, fewer surprises on site.
